Looking for committed, dedicated, loving, well, you know. People who care. In order for us to take more students, we need more tutors. Won’t you consider being one of them. We have a training coming up on November 10 and 17, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Our training covers the effects that poverty and racism have on our students, brain development, the 5 components of reading, and lesson planning. We will have some breakfast munchies, beverages, snacks and provide dessert for lunch. Please just bring a sandwich. All other materials for the for the training will be provided. It is being held at our space at 20 Rensselaer Street (right down the street from Giffen Elementary School).
