So You Want to Talk About Race. In observance of the 400th anniversary

the arrival of the first Africans brought to America against their will and

forced into slavery, Ijeoma Oluo, author of this New York Times will present

an event at the UAlbany downtown campus on Thursday, September 26,

at 7:30 p.m. She guides people of all races to make the seemingly impossible

possible: honest conversations about race and racism and how they infect

every aspect of American life. Offered in cooperation with the NYS Writers
