Nathaniel Wardlaw holds a B.S. in Music Education from the College of Saint Rose
with a concentration in voice, and will be completing his M.M in Choral Conducting from Messiah College in the Fall of 2017. He is currently in his second year as a K-6 General Music and Chorus teacher at two elementary schools in the Albany City School District. He is frequently employed as an accompanist in the Capital Region of New York, serving as the rehearsal/concert accompanist for the Albany Gay Men’s Chorus and has accompanied at numerous festival, school and solo engagements. Nate is the musical director for the Cue Theatre Inc. in Delmar, NY, having musically directed productions including Rent!, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown and Shrek the Musical. As a vocalist, Nate serves as the Tenor Soloist/Section Leader at the First Presbyterian Church in Albany, NY. Nate has guest conducted at the First Presbyterian Church, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, and with the College of Saint Rose’s Masterworks Chorale, Chamber Choir and Women’s Chorale. Nate holds professional affiliations with NYSSMA, ACDA, NAfME, BHVOA and JEN. When he is not teaching or making music, Nate can be found hanging with his girlfriend or watching his Boston sports teams.
