Adult Education class this Sunday, join Rev. Joe Paparone, a Tri-chair of the NYS Poor People’s Campaign to discuss a brief history of the campaign and look ahead to plans for the coming year! Come and learn about continuing Dr. King’s movement to unite the poor and dispossessed.

The class will explore the issues related to Transgender Day of Remembrance.

We will look at texts that are set in the midst of a journey or while traveling “on the road,” and discover how this setting shapes the message.

We’ll look at texts set in the wilderness, as defined by the Bible’s authors.

The Adult Education Class Will continue to look at texts set among towers, and the power and wealth behind them.

Adult Education class, the text we’ll be looking at has a tower as the setting. How do towers reflect the power of those who build them? How does such a setting affect how we hear these texts?
