Create a “Welcome Home” Message for Glenn and Miriam!

The Membership Committee invites you to record a brief and personal video or write
a note for our co-pastors, Miriam and Glenn Leupold, to welcome them home from
their Sabbatical.

Need ideas for what to say? Answer one or two of these questions:

  • What did you miss most about Glenn and Miriam?
  • What did you do to “refresh” yourself during their sabbatical time (May to August)?
  • What are your hopes for their return?
  • What is some special news about you, your family or First Pres?

To create your own video message:
Please follow these instructions, and submit your video by Wednesday, September 7,
to Dwight Cheu at dwightcheu@gmail.com:

  1. Use a location with good lighting and relatively quiet. If in bright sunlight try
to position yourself in the shade.
  2. Hold the phone /tablet sideways so that the video is in landscape mode. Try
to keep the phone as still as possible.
  3. Closer is better. Try to fill the frame with the upper half of the subject.
  4. Duration: 10 – 15 seconds.

Dwight will create a montage of videos received to give to our co-pastors.
To create a handwritten note:
Bring your own note or use our stationery, which will be available on Sunday
morning, September 11, for anyone who would like to write a “welcome home”
message for Glenn and Miriam.
