Create a “Welcome Home” Message for Glenn and Miriam!
The Membership Committee invites you to record a brief and personal video or write
a note for our co-pastors, Miriam and Glenn Leupold, to welcome them home from
their Sabbatical.
Need ideas for what to say? Answer one or two of these questions:
- What did you miss most about Glenn and Miriam?
- What did you do to “refresh” yourself during their sabbatical time (May to August)?
- What are your hopes for their return?
- What is some special news about you, your family or First Pres?
To create your own video message:
Please follow these instructions, and submit your video by Wednesday, September 7,
to Dwight Cheu at dwightcheu@gmail.com:
- Use a location with good lighting and relatively quiet. If in bright sunlight try
to position yourself in the shade. - Hold the phone /tablet sideways so that the video is in landscape mode. Try
to keep the phone as still as possible. - Closer is better. Try to fill the frame with the upper half of the subject.
- Duration: 10 – 15 seconds.
Dwight will create a montage of videos received to give to our co-pastors.
To create a handwritten note:
Bring your own note or use our stationery, which will be available on Sunday
morning, September 11, for anyone who would like to write a “welcome home”
message for Glenn and Miriam.
