(Grades 1-5) Our 1st through 5th graders gather in The Upper Rooms on the third floor of the education building to discover the wonder of stories through play and engagement. We honor and nurture children’s spiritual lives, recognizing their centrality, competence, and capacity.
(Grades 6-12) Delving into our Presbyterian tradition and Christian teachings, we explore our place in the world. Our goal is to become followers of Jesus, spreading love, peace, justice, and mercy. Additionally, we learn about different faith traditions and engage in social justice efforts, including the inspiring Poor People’s Campaign.
The Adult Education Class will be led by Patricia Fennell, MSW, LCWS-R and CEO of Albany Health Management Associates, Inc. She is a clinician, research scientist, educator, and author specializing in chronic illness and more. Best of all, she's a part of our church community. Her class will look at living with long-term or chronic illness.
The First Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir provides music throughout the year in our Sunday services.
