(Grades 1-5) Our 1st through 5th graders gather in The Upper Rooms on the third floor of the education building to discover the wonder of stories through play and engagement. We honor and nurture children’s spiritual lives, recognizing their centrality, competence, and capacity.
(Grades 6-12) Delving into our Presbyterian tradition and Christian teachings, we explore our place in the world. Our goal is to become followers of Jesus, spreading love, peace, justice, and mercy. Additionally, we learn about different faith traditions and engage in social justice efforts, including the inspiring Poor People’s Campaign.
As the Adult Education Class begins a new academic year, Glenn will review of the history of Palestine and Israel that has preceded the current conflict. This will prepare us for September 22 when Rob Trawick, the General Presbyter of Albany Presbytery, will share his experience in Israel this past spring.
